Welcome to call it kismet

Kismet:  noun  fate; destiny

After lots of procrastination, denial and just plain avoidance, I have finally hopped the hurdle and changed my blog. We obviously are no longer 3 Pups In A Pop-Up, since the original pup, Kismet, crossed over the rainbow bridge this Spring.

And….we have decided to sell the Pop-up.

Goodbye, old friend

Goodbye, old friend

After several swell years, and many awesome adventures, we decided to take our travels to the sea.

Trade the wheels for the wind.

We have sold the majority of our earthly possessions, put what we aren’t ready to part with in storage,  and decided to call our sailboat (to be renamed Kismet very soon), “home”.

Although we still own a small cottage on Lake Lanier in North Georgia, we are furiously prepping it to put on the rental market until the real-estate market bounces back in this area.

We’ll see.

Our motto has been, and continues to be, “whatever happens is what’s meant to be,” which, by definition, is the meaning of kismet. And we want to honor the memory the our little man, Kismet, because in spirit he is with us, nose to the wind, enjoying the ride.

So, 3 Pups in a Pop-Up has morphed into Call it Kismet. I hope you will join us on our journey.
