OMD! This weekend was unbelievable! Barkworld was in town for the second year, and my head is so full of new ideas and information I think my brain just might explode.

Barkworld is a 2-day  gathering of folks like me that are involved with social media that revolves around pets.  If you retail pet products, write a  pet-centric blog or just tweet about your pet, there is something, actually, LOTS of somethings, here for you.

With an impressive listing of guest speakers including “It’s Me or the Dog’s” Victoria Stillwell, I’ve learned about how to make my dogs YouTube superstars, how to get paid for writing about  all things pet, to creating a pet-friendly home.

Victoria Stillwel’s “Positively” dog training method employs ONLY positive reinforcement-based dog training. I love that. The 3 pups REALLY love that!

Dog food donations needed!

Thanks to all the companies that contributed to our “swag bag” and a huge thanks to Hills Science Diet for allowing me to take all of the remaining bags of dogfood to the Save Our Pets Food Bank here in Atlanta. I plan to have another pet food drive  to collect as much food as I can before taking it to the food bank.

The best part, though, was meeting so many other bloggers, pet lovers, rescue groups and social petworkers. I look forward to keeping up with you all via social media! See you at Barkworld 2012!
