Mommy’s a Chicken-Shit

welcome

Kismet here–i finally have enuf energy to post a new blog about Kismet and Roxie’s xcellent adventures. i gotta tell you, my dogs are barkin!  hahahahaha! that’s people-speak for my feet hurt and i’m worn out! Yesterday, mommy and daddy took us to stanley park, one of north america’s largest urban parks.  at 1000 acres, it’s 20% bigger than central park in nyc. ( i’ve never been there, but mommy say’s it’s super-nice).  anyway, we circul…naviget…we made a big loop around the whole park on the seawall–that’s 5 1/2 miles, and then we explored the inside of the park! it’s sooooo cool! here are some sights we saw…

Siwash Rock

it’s pretty cool that there are seperate paths for bikes and roller bladers and us walkers, because, as you may have heard from my bratty little sister, roxie, i am not very good on leash, and i would probably have gotten run over.

how's that for balance??

how's that for balance??

along the seawall, there were all kinds of these rocks balancing on top of each other. how do they do that and not fall over? it was windy, too!

we saw bald eagles and goats and horses and a big, scary raccoon that stood up and hissed at us and told us to stay away, and since mommy’s a chicken-shit, she didn’t get a picture of that.  (shhhhh..don’t tell her i said that!)  daddy always laughs at her and calls her a “deer in the headlights”, whatever that means.

Today we’re gonna do a little more xploring, so we’ll get back to you real soon.  over and out!
